This is Armenia’s flag, a horizontal tricolor of red, blue, and apricot (orange). First adopted in 1918 and restored in 1990 with independence from the Soviet Union, it symbolizes endurance and freedom (red), the peaceful sky (blue), and the nation’s diligence and creativity—often linked to Armenia’s famous apricots.
