Cameroon is the only option with the Pan‑African green–red–yellow tricolor featuring a single gold star in the center—the “star of unity,” symbolizing the union of former French and British Cameroons. The colors also carry meaning: green for the southern forests, red for independence and national unity, and yellow for the northern savannas and the sun. Memory tip: “Cameroon = center star.” Among the options, Madagascar has white-red-green horizontal/vertical blocks, Zambia has an eagle and an orange corner on green, and Botswana is light blue with a black stripe—none have a central star on a vertical Pan‑African tricolor.
