About the flag

Honduras is correct. The five stars symbolize the five original members of the Federal Republic of Central America—Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica—and the hope of regional unity. The two blue bands stand for the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea flanking Central America. To tell it apart from the options: Guatemala’s flag bears a quetzal and scroll, Brazil’s is green with a yellow diamond and blue globe, and Antigua and Barbuda has a bold rising sun design. Memory tip: Honduras = “H for handful” of five stars, held between two blues (the two seas).
