About the flag

Laos is correct. Its flag features a central white disc that symbolizes the full moon over the Mekong River and the unity of the Lao people; the blue stands for the nation’s prosperity (and is often linked to the Mekong), while the red honors the sacrifices made for independence. Adopted in 1975 with the establishment of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, it’s one of the few socialist-era flags without a star.
