About the flag

Togo is correct. Its Pan‑African green, yellow, and red symbolize agriculture and forests (green), mineral wealth (yellow), and the struggle and patriotism (red), while the single white star stands for hope and purity. The five stripes represent Togo’s five regions. Designed by renowned artist Paul Ahyi, it was adopted on Independence Day, 27 April 1960.
