Uruguay is correct: the flag features the “Sun of May” in the canton and nine alternating blue-and-white stripes. That sets it apart from the options—Paraguay has a red-white-blue tricolor with different emblems on each side, Ecuador uses a yellow-blue-red tricolor with a coat of arms, and Antigua and Barbuda has a bold red flag with a black/blue/white “V” and rising sun. The Sun of May symbolizes independence from Spain and ties Uruguay to the former United Provinces of the Río de la Plata (it also appears on Argentina’s flag).
